Position Introduction
DSD Renewables is seeking a Commercial Analyst II to join our industry-leading commercial sales team. In this role, you will be co-leading the origination of solar, solar-plus-storage, and electric vehicle charging projects alongside the Commercial Sales team and delivering the highest value proposals for enterprise and public customers across the United States. This role is highly cross-functional, providing opportunities to collaborate with several other teams and build exposure throughout multiple stages of the origination and development process. As part of the commercial unit, you will develop a range of analytical skills and an understanding of the key drivers for successful solar project development, helping ensure DSD’s projects maximize value for both DSD and our customers. Commercial analysts help lead projects from concept to contract and remain involved throughout the development cycle, building expertise in solar analytics, financial modeling, design and engineering, pricing strategy, and federal and state-level renewables policy. Analysts will also build aptitude in coordination and leadership through the team’s unique exposure to a wide range of the project lifecycle.
Additionally, through the team’s Analyst Growth Program, you will receive training and support to grow into future leaders at DSD. Upon joining the team, analysts go through robust training during onboarding to ensure development of foundational skills and relevant market knowledge. Longer term, the Growth Program provides career planning support and the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives tailored to your interests, allowing you to build expertise and interface with other DSD functions in a unique way. The goal of the Program is to help analysts explore their career interests, develop and work toward professional goals, and grow their professional network.
