The Community Solar Analyst/Associate will join DSD’s growing Community Solar team to help build a robust, best-in-class Community Solar portfolio. Community Solar is the fastest-growing sector of the C&I solar industry and is DSD’s only product that services both commercial and residential customers. Even among the rest of the organization, the Community Solar team is an especially entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment. The Analyst/Associate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager of Community Solar’s work with Aggregator partners, focused on project subscriptions through the construction stages. This includes assisting with day-to-day relationships with our partners, data management, data analysis, developing reports and forecasting models, and maintaining the team’s organizational processes and resources to keep internal team members and cross-functional teams informed about progress toward project acquisition goals. Additionally, the Analyst will assist on policy and market related research topics focused on expanding DSD’s community solar portfolio in emerging markets.  


Responsibilities:

-        Working closely with the Community Solar team to support and move projects through their project life cycle, from market research prior to contract, through the contracting and subscription stages until handoff to asset management.

-        Working closely with the Senior Manager of Community Solar to track partner performance and diligence all subscriber acquisition processes.

-        Managing subscription data reporting and organization and customer materials where applicable

-        Report internally and externally on acquisition progress and provide forecasting reports to inform the team on expected timing to achieve milestones, etc.

-        Organize and manage data about project subscription statuses in SharePoint, Teams, and Salesforce

-        Work closely with the Asset Management and IX/Incentives teams to ensure that all project handoff items are completed in a timely manner and passed to appropriate stakeholders in a complete and comprehensive package.

-        Developing outstanding, positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders that enable them to do their job more effectively in addition to lifting the Community Solar team’s capabilities.


Qualifications/Requirements:

-        Understanding of solar fundamentals, familiarity with the C/I and Community Solar markets preferred

-        Previous experience working with Salesforce and/or other CRM systems

-        Previous experience with account management and external stakeholder relationship management

-        Exceptional organization and communication skills

-        Entrepreneurial/driven and persistent work ethic

-        Commitment to best-in-class customer service to both internal and external customers

-        Demonstrated interest in building a stronger, cleaner economy and deploying more solar
