This role will be responsible for project and cost accounting for the Company including variance reporting, account analysis and forecasting. The Project Accounting Manager will report to the Controller.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all project and cost accounting, and related activities including month end close, variance reporting, and forecasting.
  • Oversee and manage accounts payable department including invoice processing and forecasting.
  • Partner with Project Management and Construction teams to facilitate efficient and effective purchase order processing, cost tracking and variance analysis.
  • Assist with inventory management including implementation of monitoring and tracking system.
  • Assist and implement system enhancement within ERP to facilitate streamlined processes and reporting.
  • Manage relationship with third party tax provider, ensure accurate and timely sales and property tax filings and compliance. Assist with efforts to streamline and automate tax reporting.
  • Liaise with the Fund Accounting team for process improvements around project cost tracking and processes.
  • Assist and support year-end audits.
  • Prepare ad-hoc requests for Controller and CFO.

 


Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in project accounting
  • Renewable Energy or construction experience preferred.
