Role Summary/Purpose: This role will be responsible for supporting the accounting function through performance of a variety of tasks including management and oversight of invoicing and collections and management of the Accounts Receivable process.  account analysis and forecasting. The Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst will report to the Fund Accounting Manager.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee monthly customer invoicing and monitor collections
  • Partner with Asset Management team on monthly reporting and analysis
  • Analyze various intercompany and third-party contracts
  • Manage collection/dispute activities, build solid working relationships with customers, and continuously improve internal processes to incorporate best practices and technical solutions
  • Evaluate and implement improvements to invoice processing and collections
  • Develop and document the necessary standards, procedures, and policies for ensuring invoicing and collections processes can scale with business growth
  • Work with third party tax team to ensure state and local tax compliance
  • Assist and support year-end audits
  • Prepare ad-hoc requests for Controller and Fund Accounting Manager as requested

 


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Experience in accounting
  • Renewable Energy or construction experience preferred
