Job Description: Contract Manager, Partnerships

 

Role Summary/Purpose

 

The Contract Manager will join our emerging Partnerships team to help build a thriving network of third-party solar development and EPC firms transacting on DSD Renewables’ financing platform.

 

The Contract Manager will handle and oversee contract negotiations, details, and terms between DSD and our partners and customers. The Contract Manager will be responsible for ensuring swift execution of vital agreements—such as PPAs and Site Lease Agreements—and other components of our projects from award to completed and in-hand definitive agreements. The Contract Manager will ensure contract documents are accurate, well maintained, and ultimately financeable.

 

Essential Responsibilities

 

As the Contract Manager of our Partnerships team, you will manage all agreements with our partners and our customers, with a focus on the following responsibilities:

·         Working closely with our regional solar development and EPC partners and their customers, providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to expedited contract execution.

·         Creating, preparing, reviewing, and editing distributed solar project contracts and agreements, including Power Purchase Agreements, Site Lease Agreements, and EPC Agreements.

·         Collaborating with internal team members and effectively communicating and managing expectations with external parties.

·         Providing advice and guidance to internal teams relating to contract generation and identifying opportunities to improve business processes.

·         Maintaining outstanding, positive working relationships with internal teams and all external parties.

 

Qualifications/Desired Characteristics

 

·         Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

·         A commitment to providing best-in-class customer service to our partners and our customers.

·         Contract management and negotiation experience in solar or related industries, with a preference for a deep understanding of Power Purchase Agreements and other solar-related contracts.

·         Remarkable enthusiasm and a team-oriented predilection.

·         3 years of experience

·         Demonstrated interest in building a stronger, cleaner economy and deploying more solar.
