Job Description:

Distributed Solar Development is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented attorney to join the company as commercial counsel for project finance.   This role will be primarily responsible for assisting and advising the project finance team with respect to monthly financings and investment transactions. This attorney will be responsible for reviewing and amending project documents, advising on compliance with financing requirements, drafting documents required for monthly financings and in connection with investment transactions, and resolving issues to ensure the timely closing of these transactions. This role will oversee outside counsel with respect to these transactions.  This role will report into the Senior Commercial Counsel for Project Finance.

Requirements:

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 

·         At least 4 years of project finance experience with respect to financing and investing in solar projects

·         Strong written and oral communication skills

·         Diligent, detail-orientated, pro-active, team-oriented

·         JD degree from a highly selective law school and be in good standing with a U.S. State Bar
