Sales Manager - Energy Storage

Introduction

DSD seeks a Sales Manager – Energy Storage (SMES) to join our rapidly expanding origination team.  DSD develops commercial, industrial, and small utility solar projects with municipalities, F500 companies, and utilities. Given the multiple, significant values that can be garnered via integrating energy storage into these types of solar projects, our projects are increasingly coupled with energy storage. Our energy storage solutions have been well-received by the market, and DSD seeks to expand the team with experienced, creative, distributed renewables professionals who can immediately support expanding and scaling our solutions.

In order to achieve that, within the constraints of what can be structured in a proposed solution, the successful candidate must be functionally fluent in interactions with internal solar sales, analyst, finance, engineering, legal, and other teams. The SMES will also interact extensively with DSD’s energy storage partners and customers. The SMES will report to the Director of Energy Storage Solutions.

A strong applicant will be self-motivated, and have a deep knowledge of key storage markets and financial drivers of energy storage project development. The SMES must be able to support several projects and project portfolios concurrently while sustaining rigorous attention to detail.
