Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing Coordinator, in collaboration with the Director of Marketing, is responsible for producing and distributing content for COCA’s audience engagement efforts, by initiative and by audience. This person is responsible for content execution planning, capturing, documenting, sharing and reporting. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Coordinator is COCA’s on-staff photographer/videographer, responsible for covering or scheduling coverage for all COCA events, performances, classes, camps and special requests.

- Plan and produce imagery and content for use across social media and related platforms that supports COCA’s mission, programming, and strategic initiatives, leading to increased awareness of and participation in events, productions, classes and camps.
- Collaborate with COCA’s various departments for planning, scheduling, content creation, and outreach on behalf of projects and events, ensuring that they are accurately and strategically presented across social and related digital platforms in a timely manner.
- Attend and act as staff photographer and videographer for events, performances, campaigns, classes, and camps; including organizing, editing, and uploading to internal storage, sharing sites in a timely manner.
- Engage, monitor and track social media activity, website statistics and provide reports for COCA’s social channels, which include but are not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Manage and maintain all of COCA’s photography and videography assets. Partner with freelance partners for events and promotional shoots. Pull archival photography and videography for audition materials for students and choreographers.
- Provide content support to align imagery and messaging for website updates and maintenance, working with Communications Manager, and for promotional marketing content, working with Audience Development Manager
- Provide design support, as needed for digital and print projects, working with Design & Production Manager
- Provide strategic support for paid digital advertising strategy development, creation, execution and reporting with Marketing Director
- Coordinate with outside sources, such as school partners, sponsors, faculty, and community partners to provide social media toolkits and content for partner promotion.
- Stay abreast of digital trends, changes, and platforms to ensure COCA’s digital footprint is optimized and relevant.

Education and/or Qualifications:
- Excellent photography and/or videography skills: Experience with Canon XA60 video camera is preferred.
- Passion for COCA’s mission.
- Must be knowledgeable about issues and trends facing the arts and arts education.
- 1–3 years’ experience in marketing, digital media, or a related field is preferred. Non-profit experience is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree or significant professional experience is required; marketing, communications, videography, or other relevant field is preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and all common social media platforms; Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects; Knowledge of WordPress and Canva is required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects.
- The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment.
- This position requires evening and weekend hours.
