Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Software Integration Engineer to join our team. Your main focus will be integrating software systems, working with APIs, documenting processes, and improving integration performance. You will be expected to work cooperatively with development staff to expand current integrations and train them on new integrations.
Responsibilities:
Integrate APIs into existing systems and troubleshoot issues.
Document software processes and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Develop and maintain integration software solutions.
Audit integration performance and implement improvements.
Collaborate with teams to understand requirements and communicate progress.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4+ years of related professional work experience.
Experience in software integration and API development.
2+ years experience with object oriented PHP.
2+ years professional web application development.
Preferred:
Experience with EdTech integrations.
Prior experience with student information systems (Skyward Qmlativ, Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, etc.).
Experience building a secure public facing API before.
