Access to the US Open Tournament Grounds
We’re looking for Full Time Seasonal Scoopers who can commit to being Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Ambassadors for the duration of the Tournament (August 20th to September 11th).
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Serve guests all menu items in accordance with established service and build-out standards
Keep refrigerators and freezers stocked with products being rotated using the first in, first out protocol
Process guest transactions of purchased menu selections at the register and receive/process payment
Maintain kiosk and cart cleanliness and follow all proper sanitation guidelines
Complete inventory tasks, as well as receive and arrange delivery from vendors and Van Leeuwen HQ
Be true Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Ambassadors by providing great customer service to all guests
Performs cashier duties using the POS system
Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
1+ year(s) of retail or food service experience (quick service a plus)
Able to push/pull/lift 50 lbs. of weight
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to train and coach team members
Ability to multitask
Ability to commit to 40 hours a week, 5 days per week (including weekends)
