Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is looking for members to join its Los Angeles Ice Cream Truck team! Our Ice Cream Truck Team Members work events including festivals, movie sets, parties and other private events as well as work at our vending locations around Los Angeles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Display amazing customer service and positively represent the Van Leeuwen brand

• Maintain sound food handling and cleaning practices

• Exhibit menu and product knowledge, and accurately serve offerings to company standards

• Follow company protocols, driving and safety rules

• Effectively communicate with team members and management for truck needs & supplies

• Work happily and respectfully as part of the team, show initiative when needed

• Promote an environment of fun, kindness, and respect

 

REQUIREMENTS

• A driver's license

• Must be able to drive a Food Truck

• Food or other customer service experience

• Flexible availability (weekends are a MUST)

• Self-motivation and ability to work independently

• A great attitude

• Ability to effectively work well as part of a team and autonomously

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift 30+ pounds

• Exceptionally high standards for cleanliness

• Minimal truck maintenance required

• On-call shifts as needed

• On truck inventory
