Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is hiring a full-time Finance Coordinator based out of our main office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to work closely with our Finance team as the company embarks on its next stage of major growth. The ideal candidate is someone who is extremely detailed, has experience working with data entry, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment (and loves ice cream!). This role requires the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines with extreme attention to detail, and consistently accurate data entry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter vendor invoices and utility bills into NetSuite (ERP) on a weekly basis
- Communicate invoice discrepancies with Retail Managers, contacting vendors when needed
- Flag unexpected ingredient price changes to Supply Chain team for further review
- Track and pay parking tickets for delivery vehicles
- Record all purchases made on all company cards into NetSuite, alerting department heads of any discrepancies
- Conduct weekly reviews of open Purchase Order and Transfer Order transactions in NetSuite to assist in auditing for missing Item Receipts
- Enter sales orders into NetSuite for wholesale customers, update with order revisions if needed.
- Monitor wholesale accounts receivable on a weekly basis and perform dunning
- Scan and organize all bills and documents on Google Drives for other departments to view and access
- Assist in digitizing and organizing old documents to maintain all records
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Finance or Accounting
- 2+ years of data entry or AR/AP experience
- Proficiency in MS excel (e.g., formulas, tables etc.) and in MS PowerPoint
- Detail-oriented, well-organized
- Proven ability to partner and build strong working relationships with business partners
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in an organized, detailed manner, given limited time frames
