Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is looking for members to join its Los Angeles ice cream truck team! Team members will be working catering events (scooping at festivals, movie sets, parties and other private events) as well as standard vending at our regular posts in Venice Beach and LACMA.

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for minimal-contact work as most shifts will be worked alone from the truck!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Display amazing customer service and positively represent the Van Leeuwen brand
• Maintain sound food handling and cleaning practices
• Exhibit menu and product knowledge, and accurately serve offerings to company standards
• Follow company protocols, driving and safety rules
• Effectively communicate with other team members and management while on shift
• Work happily and respectfully as part of the team, show initiative when needed
• Promote an environment of fun, kindness, and respect

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A driver's license
• Must be able to drive a Food Truck
• Food or other customer service experience
• Flexible availability (weekends are a MUST)
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently
• A great attitude
• Ability to effectively work well as part of a team and autonomously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds
• Exceptionally high standards for cleanliness
