We are seeking a Program Director, Health to help us improve public health through environmental education!
Position Overview
The Program Director, Health will develop and manage health initiatives aligned with NEEF’s goals. Responsibilities include program design, stakeholder engagement, and overseeing health-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement national and local health strategies.
- Manage program activities, budgets, and reports.
- Evaluate program impact and ensure continuous improvement.
- Engage underrepresented communities in health initiatives.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships.
- Support fundraising efforts through relationship management and proposal development.
- Create resources and outreach materials for healthcare providers and the public.
- Ensure compliance with funding requirements and prepare reports for sponsors.
- Lead and mentor program staff.
Qualifications
- 10+ years professional work experience and/or education in one or more of the following areas: nursing or community health, public/environmental health, epidemiology, public and community health services, or related health discipline.
- 6+ years managing projects or personnel.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with underrepresented communities and fundraising.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Compensation
- Desired range: $75,762 - $89,133.

- NEEF uses location-based salary bands to ensure fair and competitive compensation, with the final salary determined by the employee's geographic location.
