Job Summary
The Maintenance and Repair Manager is responsible for overseeing the assessment, maintenance, and repair of our data centers, equipment, and infrastructure. This role ensures assets are maintained in a safe, reliable, and cost-effective manner by identifying issues, coordinating preventive and corrective repairs, managing contractors, and maintaining maintenance schedules and budgets to support continuous operations and uptime.

 

Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure
  • Identify maintenance issues, safety risks, and repair needs
  • Document findings and recommend corrective actions and preventive measures
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee routine maintenance and repair activities
  • Prepare scopes of work and bid packages for maintenance and repair projects
  • Oversee contractor work to ensure compliance with contracts, safety standards, and company policies
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with operations and safety teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Support preventive maintenance programs for critical data center infrastructure
  • Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with operations to protect uptime
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to multiple sites within the local area
  • Proven experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or a similar role
  • Knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and maintenance best practices
  • Ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures
  • Availability to be on call to work emergency shifts, which may include evening, nights and weekends (as needed)
