Alliance Global Solution is seeking an Internet Installer in Des Moines, IA to join our expanding Fiber Optics team. In this role, you will install fiber in customers’ homes or businesses and set up Wi-Fi equipment while providing excellent customer service.
Applicants will be trained for drops and/or in-home installations. Alliance Global Solutions provides a company vehicle, gas card, tools, and uniforms!
Responsibilities:
- Installation and troubleshooting of fiber and internet
- Meeting metric goals for installations
- Being professional and courteous to clients
- Serves as customer resource for product and service recommendations.
- Maintaining accurate inventory
- Required to travel within county areas.
Requirements:
· Must have 1-2 years of industry-related experience such as cable, dish, network, electronic, home security, and alarms.
- Must be able to work with basic tools: 28 ft. extension ladders, drill, screwdrivers, pliers, etc. (Required)
- Knowledge of smartphones and tablets
- Ability to work proficiently unsupervised
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check, clean driving record, and drug screening (Required)
- All candidates must be physically able to climb ladders, work in crawl spaces, and lift to 75 lbs.(Required)
Must live within 40 miles of the Des Moines, IA area
