LuckyBolt has an opening for a Cook in our main kitchen in Sorrento Valley. This is an opportunity to work in a nice, clean kitchen alongside a fun-loving team that has several decades of experience. We source beautiful ingredients directly from San Diego farms and make approachable dishes that nourish our customers. LuckyBolt is doing lots of innovative things and growing rapidly, so there will be plenty of opportunities for advancement as you prove yourself as a valuable member of the team. JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum six months of experience working in a commercial kitchen. (Culinary School Graduate is a plus.)

- Valid San Diego Food Handler's card

- You speak English fluently.

- You love food and enjoy helping people.

- You can comfortably lift 50 lbs.

- You're comfortable working on your feet for long stretches of time.


JOB DESCRIPTION

- Use professional knife skills to prep ingredients like fresh produce and whole pasture-raised chickens

- Cover a specific station on the line, e.g. salad, sandwich, hot specials

- Hours: 40 hrs per week

COMPENSATION

- Cook Starts at $13.50 per hour (DOE)
