Director of Operations is responsible for all management of Customer Service & Distribution Center / HQ Inventory Distribution for all warehousing, distribution, and field inventory optimization. Field inventory optimization includes consistent evaluation and modification of distributor implant and instrument tray par levels, and optimal loaner tray levels for the Catalyst Distribution Center. Further warehousing and distribution responsibility include all demo inventory including management of 3rd party cadaver lab supplier. In addition, this position will also lead and manage the Customer Service Department and all corresponding functions. The Director is responsible for accurate inventory counts across all physical locations including Naples HQ, distributor consignments, Catalyst OrthoScience employee consignments, remote storage, third-party processor(s) and others.
The Director of Operations: shall approach his/her job with a "service before self' orientation, intentionally seeking collaboration and placing positive and constructive teamwork above individual contribution.
Responsibilities:
Within 2 weeks of assuming the position, must complete a Gap Analysis and a mitigation plan with the goal of resolving by year end. Mitigation Plan is to be tied to KPIs / performance scorecard.
Manage all inventory, warehousing and order fulfillment functions and associated Catalyst OrthoScience sales leadership and distributor interactions including consigned inventory, loaners, demo inventory, and marketing materials.
Enhance operational processes to help in meeting demand for aggressive year over year growth
Be in alignment with Supply Chain Director to ensure Catalyst is optimizing its entire inventory realm from field inventory to finished goods inventory stored in the DC inventory levels.
Maximize inventory utilization through close evaluation of distributor tray turn metrics and partner with Sales Leadership to determine optimal distributor inventory levels.
Oversee and lead the Customer Service Department; build relationships with distributors and direct sales force and work strategically to expand breadth and depth of those relationships.
Manage and continuously look for opportunities to enhance operational processes that best serve Customer Service, Warehouse Team and the entire company.
Identify, record, and communicate all missing and/or damaged inventory related to returned instrument trays, bone saw kits, loaners, and other consigned inventory.
Manage the distribution of all company marketing or corporate collateral.
Follow all applicable policies and procedures in our Quality Management System
Manage the physical warehouse location and remote storage location.
Act as primary back-up for Customer Logistics Manager duties.
