The Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining the accounting operations of the company under the direction of the CEO and Senior Financial Officer. The Controller manages accounting records and is responsible for the production of financial reports, ensuring that they are issued on time and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and that they fairly and accurately reflect the company's current financial position.


We're seeking a hands-on, Naples-based, Corporate Controller with prior medical device experience who will be responsible for managing the tax and accounting process for the corporation. The Controller will operate in a continuous improvement and team-based environment, paying high attention to detail and accuracy in all that we do.


Prior medical device experience is required.

Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

Manages outside audit activity and annual reporting requirements.

Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.

Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.

Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.

Works with other company leadership to establish revenue forecasts, plan for and manage cash flow based on expectations.

Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends reporting systems.


Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or Certified Public Accountant required.

·         Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance

·         Experience with financial reporting requirements

·         Excellent communication skills: written and oral

·         Strong organization and problem-solving skills

·         Excellent leadership and collaboration skills

·         Experience in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office
