Summary:

The Distribution Manager is responsible for all Catalyst OrthoScience inventory receiving, warehousing, and order fulfillment activities, including management of shipping staff. The Shipping Manager is responsible to develop and improve processes, procedures, practices, and systems achieving labor efficiencies, HQ inventory accuracy, and informational links across all company software systems while maintaining compliance to our Quality Management System.

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, order picking, order fulfillment, and shipping functions. Lead all associated problem-solving exercises.
• Manage shipping staff, including daily oversight, performance appraisals and filling open positions as needed in accordance with HR policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Customer Service assuring all orders are timely, complete, and accurate. Lead all associated problem-solving exercises.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager and Finance Controller assuring all HQ inventories are accurate. Lead all associated problem-solving exercises.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager on establishing and maintaining effective HQ Finished Goods inventory levels and reorder points for implants, instruments, and shipping materials. Lead all associated problem-solving exercises.
• Collaborate with the Marketing on establishing and maintaining effective Marketing collateral inventory levels and reorder points. Lead all associated problem-solving exercises.
• Collaborate with Medical Education on establishing and maintaining effective HQ inventory levels and reorder points for saw bones exercised and cadaver labs. Lead all associated problem-solving exercises.
• Maintain a “service before self” attitude and approach.

 

 

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Business Management or similar degree

·      Excellent communication skills: written and oral

·      Excellent computer software skills

·      5-10 years of experience in warehousing and distribution management, preferably in medical devices
