Summary:

The Product Manager works with the VP of Marketing serving as a product manager for Catalyst OrthoScience products. The Product Manager works with the Sales, Medical Education and R&D teams to manage the lifecycle of Catalyst OrthoScience products and services. As a member of the marketing team, the product manager stays apprised of market trends and assesses business potential and business case for product development and enhancements.

 

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

·       Manage life cycle of Catalyst OrthoScience products and services, working with R&D, Sales and Medical Education teams.

·       Establish and manage ongoing marketing initiatives and product launches.

·       Conduct continuous research to monitor and understand market trends and dynamics, including generating reports for company leadership as needed.

·       Assess market gaps, evaluate business potential and develop business cases as needed.

·       Serve as the primary interface between customers and product designers.

·       Develop product requirements for product design based on customer feedback and facilitate customer evaluations of concept designs.

·       Execute and develop training and education programs for field representatives and customers, working with Medical Education.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree, a degree in Business or Health/Science disciplines preferred, from a four-year college or university.

·       Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical device Sales, Marketing, and or/ Product Management. Knowledge of shoulder arthroplasty and surgical planning software a plus.

·       Prior experience working with doctors, nurses and/or patients and end users of products and devices.

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing.

·       Demonstrated proficiency in problem solving and decision making

·       Must have excellent presentation skills and be able to present to small and large groups.

·       Ability to understand fundamental product profitability considerations including gross margins and P&L statements.
