Sophinea is looking for a detail-oriented individual who is able to effectively work within a cross-functional team and conduct functional testing for the purpose of validating the software application against functional requirements/specifications. This includes the main functions of the application, its basic usability, accessibility, and troubleshooting errors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to quickly understand user requirements and business objectives, is a strong communicator, and is able to effectively collaborate with others on a team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review business requirements and system specifications with business users and developers 

  • Develop technical documents, briefs, user guide, test scripts, and other deliverables

  • Execute test plans and analyze test results

  • Develop logs to document testing phases and defects

  • Report bugs and errors to development teams

  • Assist with troubleshooting issues

  • Conduct post-release testing

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 2-5 years of experience of program/project management experience required

  • Demonstrated ability to document and effectively troubleshoot issues

  • Demonstrated ability to gain an understanding of end-user requirements, resolving questions that are unclear

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • US Citizenship required to obtain a Security Clearance
