Sophinea is looking for a detail-oriented individual who is able to effectively work within a cross-functional team and conduct functional testing for the purpose of validating the software application against functional requirements/specifications. This includes the main functions of the application, its basic usability, accessibility, and troubleshooting errors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to quickly understand user requirements and business objectives, is a strong communicator, and is able to effectively collaborate with others on a team.
Responsibilities
Review business requirements and system specifications with business users and developers
Develop technical documents, briefs, user guide, test scripts, and other deliverables
Execute test plans and analyze test results
Develop logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Assist with troubleshooting issues
Conduct post-release testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the process
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2-5 years of experience of program/project management experience required
Demonstrated ability to document and effectively troubleshoot issues
Demonstrated ability to gain an understanding of end-user requirements, resolving questions that are unclear
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
US Citizenship required to obtain a Security Clearance
