The Quality Control Manager will coordinate all quality inspections between all local suppliers and our outsourced quality inspection companies. Supervise, approve/reject inspections and create inspection standards for new products. Coordinate and determine all Certifications and compliance requirements for all products by coordinating with our Merch/Ops Compliance team, External Labs, and external legal advisors. Conduct and perform Quality inspections at our facility whenever required by following our standard AQL's and guarantee a quality lever established for our products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all the quality inspections with our third-party companies
- Create all the quality standards and inspection procedures checklists and enter them in the Quality inspection portals. Validate, approve and or reject all inspections
- Coordinate inspections according to our shipping plans
- Perform quality inspections when needed
- Review/analyze customer reviews regarding quality issues and implement changes or improvements
- Approve/reject Golden samples of new products
- Elaborate inspection's cost/financial analysis upon company's requirements
- Elaborate, control, and supervise any production reprocesses related to quality issues
- Have the capacity to communicate and establish direct communication with all suppliers
- Manage and control all internal platforms and systems (MMS, IMS, Merch Arrival) needed to control and coordinate quality assuring
Education & Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in an industrial or scientific program of studies, such as engineering or business administration, as well as work experience in manufacturing and production.
- Four years experience in middle-level management in a quality control role
- Verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Knowledge of measuring equipment and instruments
- Read and understand and specifications
- Knowledge about standards and quality processes
- Deep knowledge in Quality Control processes and requirements
