The role
The Business Process Specialist's primary role is meeting with internal clients to identify and discuss key business areas and processes that require a Standard Procedure Document. Also, to analyze existing processes, interviewing staff, gathering data, and create more efficient processes in line with client expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Meet with clients to discuss areas of focus and improvement within the business.
• Interview staff and management roles to determine the efficacy of the actual process.
• Gather and process data to identify process performance areas.
• Design workflow and process to improve business performance.
• Create and present process reports for internal client approval.
• Oversee the implementation of revised company processes and workflows.
• Monitor the efficacy of updated workflows.
• Stay up to date with the latest business practices and technologies.
Education & Knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, accounting, or similar.
• 2+ years experience as a process analyst.
• Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes.
• Detailed knowledge of workflow and process control software.
Skills & Abilities
• Must have strong multitasking skills.
• Ability to organize and manage a variety of activities while addressing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work with internal and external customers and external vendors and maintain professional relationships.
• Sense of urgency in solving problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and interviewing skills.
• Able to work seated in front of a computer for long hours at a time.
Huge plus qualifications:
• Proficiency in online marketplace procedures.
