The role
The primary role of a, ECommerce Project Manager is to plan and oversees projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Also, to design and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of the company's goals and vision.
The successful candidate will work directly with internal and external clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He will also coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Determine and define project scope and objectives.
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently.
• Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements.
• Track project costs to meet the budget.
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
• Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Education & Knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
• 5-8 years of project management and related experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the entire life cycle
Skills & Abilities
• Must have strong multitasking skills.
• Ability to organize and manage a variety of activities while addressing multiple priorities
• Ability to work with internal and external customers and external vendors and maintain professional relationships.
• Sense of urgency in solving problems.
• Able to work seated in front of a computer for long hours at a time.

• Proficiency in online marketplace procedures.
