The role
The Inventory Planning Analyst's primary role is to analyze forecast trends and plan the replenishment
accordingly from different warehouses and 3PLs to Amazon FBA and other marketplaces. This position
will support meeting optimum inventory levels and profitability goals and work cross-functionally with
logistics and related areas to identify inventory improvements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Register transactions daily in different systems, including NetSuite, Amazon Seller Central, Excel, etc.
Become part of the inventory planning team to coordinate daily replenishment processes with attention to
detail through tracking, reporting, and dashboards.
Monitor work orders through to completion: Pickup requests, cycle counts, repackaging, relabeling,
rerouting.
Control the inventory outbound (to Amazon FBA and related marketplaces) in close coordination with
transportation carriers and warehousing/ 3PLs, based on the most accurate demand data defined by the
the company through an integrated plan structured within the sales and operation process.
Perform inventory analysis and management to avoid low stock and overstock to control excess/aging
inventory and storage fees at Amazon and 3PLs.
Analyze root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions, including a plan of action.
Assist in inventory risk assessment and mitigation activities to anticipate changes, bottlenecks and escalate
complex inventory problems to management for resolution.
Manage ERP or other inventory management systems tools to track the inventory, receipts, transfers,
fulfillment, reconciliations, refunds, and returns, ensuring timely and reliable input data in the systems.
Identify and introduce best practices for inventory planning and management within the organization.
Develop initiatives to reduce slow-moving inventories and improve inventory turns.
Education & Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years' field Logistics experience: Production, warehouse, and distribution logistics.
Experience managing a large number of SKUs in a fast-paced environment with high variability, particularly
in e-commerce and consumer goods.
Experience in ERP inventory modules.
Experience with Amazon Seller Central (Desired)

Skills & Abilities
Ability to execute, influence, and drive decisions with 3rd parties.
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Comfortable in working in a complex, ambiguous, ever-changing environment.
Demonstrates good interpersonal skills, plus excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong influencing skills, analytical, oriented to teamwork, and work collaboratively across all company
departments
Working Conditions

• Able to work in seated in front of a computer for long hours at a time.
• The position may require travel.
