The Role

The Finance Business Partner is the lead financial analysis position within GOJA. This position supports all E-commerce and will be entrusted with financial modeling to develop expansion business cases, assessing the impact of operational initiates on revenue and profitability, designing long-term financial plans, and presenting the outputs to the E-commerce team. Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels and lead teams to define and deliver solutions.


Key Results Areas

1.      Business Partnering

Maintaining a high level of knowledge across all business areas by staying current on initiatives, challenges, and opportunities. Monitoring changes in pricing, inventory, PPC, and other relevant indicators for alerts, recommend any necessary adjustments to guard revenue and contribution margin targets. Challenge other department heads and team members to place their financial focus on what the company can achieve and help drive GOJA's strategy for the future.

Accountability – Finance Business Partner will be highly regarded by the value creation provided to the E-commerce team through the reporting and analysis and the partnering support provided by the department. Act as a catalyst in driving forward initiatives critical to delivering the strategy.

2.     Financial Reporting & Revenue Analytics

Prepares sales, margin, and other financial statements required by the finance department including key metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to enable achievement of plans with comparison to plan and prior year, Finance Business Partner will provide required reporting in a timely basis. Supports Merchandising Directors, Sales VP, Finance Director, Manager of FP&A, and CFO with the appropriate financial metrics information.

Accountability – Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation & change management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical and process constraints. Simplify and standardize financial terminology, reporting, and analysis across all Merchandising team members  

3.      Revenue Growth Factors by Brand

Determine key drivers by our company Brands for organic products and new product growth by developing substantiated revenue models with a transparent methodology.

Accountability – Lead the preparation of revenue, financial monitoring of existing and new products. Analyze the forecast revenue, AGP, and CM to align with GOJA's Vision/Traction Organizer and raise the flag if there are gaps.

4.       Project Management

Provides scoping, impact assessment, ROI, charters, and initial project estimates for requested company projects, including planned acquisitions.

Accountability – Finance Business Partner will develop systematic methods for the request, review, and approval of acquisitions and other projects, including the periodic follow-up to measure the success against the plan.


Education & Knowledge

  • Excellent written and verbal English/Spanish communication skills
  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, and others related to the field. 
  • At least 6 to 8 years of subsequent corporate finance experience with similar financial reporting responsibilities, including as BA Analyst, Finance Business Partner, FP&A Analyst, or with financial reporting experience for a  publicly listed company.
  • Shared service center experience preferred or COEs.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods or e-commerce.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting operations
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of internal control processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to engage, train, develop and manage a financial analyst.
  • Experience in data management systems conversions (i.e., Power BI, Excel Sheets, and FP&A Systems).
  • Exhibits continuous improvement mentality.
