Artiphon is looking for a motivated, highly technical Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join the team! The QA Lead will oversee all QA activities while closely collaborating with other development staff including project leads, engineers, sound designers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure a constant and consistently high bar of quality and performance.
What You'll Do:
- Create, maintain and lead the execution of test plans for software, firmware, and hardware products
- Provide detailed reporting and record-keeping
- Lead the execution of ad-hoc testing, finding bugs by exercising likely real-world user paths
- Document, track, and maintain current status of bugs in the database, including verification of fixes and regression testing
- Support and attend bug reviews, aid in pre-review streamlining of supporting data
- Assist with developing User and Developer documentation including procedures, FAQs and tutorials
What You'll Need:
- QA experience with music apps on mobile platforms
- QA experience with hardware and software products
- Leadership experience defining, prioritizing, and organizing work tasks for others
- Knowledge of several digital audio workstations (e.g.: Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Cubase, Studio One, etc.)
- Comprehensive understanding of MIDI and its applications
- Experience with bug tracking platforms such as JIRA
- Advanced knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting iOS, macOS, Windows, and Android-based products
- Familiarity with Artiphon's family of products
- Persistently drive tasks and projects to successful completion
- Ability to effectively communicate with a diversity of individuals, evaluate situations and act quickly
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
