You are:

An IT Network Administrator I who thrives on supporting the network infrastructure critical to the flow of data and tech enabled operations. 

Your job may engage skills and knowledge such as:

Examples of work you may perform include:

  • Assisting with network cabling projects according to budgets and schedules.
  • Analyzing and isolating issues.
  • Installing various network devices (routers, switches, WAPs, etc.).
  • Maintaining basic understanding of Local Area Networking, routing, and switching technology.
  • Assisting with vendor support of cable plant installation and troubleshooting.
  • Managing planning and maintenance of network cabling, including MDF and IDF closets.
  • Assisting vendors to ensure system deliverables and activities are in conformance with the contract.
  • Complying with change management procedures.
  • Managing project activities and maintenance tasks in approved ticketing system.
  • Receiving, prioritizing, and responding to incoming work orders, calls, and/or emails regarding equipment and/or connectivity problems

Specific Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s degree in computer science or college-level coursework that includes 15 computer science credits
    OR
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in computer or network support, programming or analysis, or database administration.
