An Information Technology Project Manager I who thrives on planning and allocating resources for projects designing, developing, implementing and managing technologies.

Examples of work you may perform include:

  • Coordination and project management support of technology and technology-related projects.
  • Work with IT staff, subject matter experts (SMEs), and program leaders to coordinate planning, organizing, implementing, and enhancing information systems and services.
  • Create and document project work plans, including scope, schedule, and cost; revise as appropriate.
  • Identify and coordinate assignment of resources and ensure resource plan is carried out.
  • Monitor and control day-to-day operational aspects of one or more projects.
  • Review deliverables prepared by vendors for consistency with requirements.
  • Develop and vet risk mitigation plans.
  • Responsible for document management, including version control and creation of project records.
  • Track team hours, progress in terms of scope, and expenses

Specific Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Two (2) years or more of experience in information technology, with one (1) year or more where the primary role was project manager.
  • Associate degree or higher in business administration, public administration, information technology, or another related field (Preferred)
