Examples of work you may perform:

  • Collaborate with project sponsors to define project scope and vision
  • Identify project stakeholders and establish roles, user classes, and their characteristics
  • Gather user requirements through interviews, workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, storyboards, use cases, and scenarios
  • Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize requirements
  • Evaluate software and hardware products for alignment with business needs
  • Implement and use requirements documentation software as prescribed by the PMO
  • Ensure proposed or purchased solutions are compatible with business requirements
  • Analyze and verify requirements for applicability, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, completeness, and conformity to standards
  • Write requirements specifications accurately and concisely using standard templates
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into detailed functional requirements
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide developers and project teams
  • Conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure correct interpretation
  • Interpret user requirements into feasible options and communicate them to business stakeholders
  • Track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, enforcing and redefining as necessary

Specific Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related subject OR Two (2) years or more of experience in an Information Technology field
