Examples of work you may perform:
- Collaborate with project sponsors to define project scope and vision
- Identify project stakeholders and establish roles, user classes, and their characteristics
- Gather user requirements through interviews, workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, storyboards, use cases, and scenarios
- Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize requirements
- Evaluate software and hardware products for alignment with business needs
- Implement and use requirements documentation software as prescribed by the PMO
- Ensure proposed or purchased solutions are compatible with business requirements
- Analyze and verify requirements for applicability, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, completeness, and conformity to standards
- Write requirements specifications accurately and concisely using standard templates
- Translate conceptual user requirements into detailed functional requirements
- Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide developers and project teams
- Conduct peer reviews of business requirements to ensure correct interpretation
- Interpret user requirements into feasible options and communicate them to business stakeholders
- Track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, enforcing and redefining as necessary
Specific Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in an IT-related subject OR Two (2) years or more of experience in an Information Technology field
