Position Title: Accountant I                                     FSLA Status: Salary – Exempt

Supervisor: Assistant Controller                             

 

Position Summary:         Responsible for providing accounting services for the corporation and
                                        maintaining its financial records in compliance with all international,
                                        federal, state, local, and professional standards by performing the
                                        following duties.

                                        expand, we are seeking a talented Accountant with IFRS experience to
                                        join our dynamic finance team.

 

Knowledge:                    Bachelor’s Degree Required
                                        CPA Preferred
                                        Minimum 3 Years’ Experience in Full Accounting Environment
                                        IFRS or International Accounting Experience Preferred

                                        Intermediate Excel Skills Required

                                        The ideal candidate must be able to work in a rapidly moving environment,
                                        prioritize workload, communicate effectively with peers and
                                        leadership, and exhibit accountability and ownership of assigned responsibilities.

 

Principal Duties:             • Assist in month-end close activities including recording journal entries
                                        • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with
                                          IFRS and GAAP standards
                                        • Manage intercompany transactions and reporting including charge-
                                          back of expenses and reconciliations
                                        • Coordinate recording of intercompany asset purchases and transfers
                                        • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reports
                                          and analyses in Tagetik (international consolidation system)
                                        • Collaborate with international parent company to resolve reporting
                                          discrepancies and improve processes
                                        • Provide assistance and support for annual audit
                                        • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process as needed
                                        • Heavy involvement in special projects and implementations
                                        • Maintain written procedures for key tasks
                                        • Performs other duties as assigned
