POSITION SUMMARY
The Associate Manager, Distribution is responsible for the daily management of distribution operations for Medacta USA.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
· Minimum 5 years overall related experience including management experience.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures and manuals.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as Stock status, Shipping Rates, discounts, Square Footage, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
· Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; AA with one to two years related experience, or 3-5 years equivalent experience. High school diploma, or general education degree (GED).
SUPERVISORY DUTIES
· Assist in the supervision of distribution employees.
· Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
· Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
· Assist in managing and prioritizing distribution employees to ensure the accurate receipt, storage, and order fulfillment of customer requests.
· Reviews records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
· Proactively review business processes to identify gaps to prevent service disruptions to our customers.
· Work directly with senior management to rectify any identified issues and report as required.
· Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner (5S).
· Ensure inventory accountability in the warehouse is maintained at all times through cycle count and process validation.
· Ensure all Medacta International policies are met at all times.
· Interface and collaborate routinely with Logistics and Customer Service personnel at Medacta International in Switzerland.
· Report statistical data as requested.
