The Manager, Healthcare Compliance Operations will support Medacta USA (the “Company”) in ongoing implementation and evolution of its healthcare compliance program. Primary responsibilities include working under the direction of the Chief Compliance Officer to identify and implement industry best practices and risk mitigation strategies. Engage, as appropriate, with surgeons, and other external and internal stakeholders to fulfill the requirements of the position and meet the goals of Medacta USA’s compliance program. Inherent in this role is the ability to successfully and amicably resolve conflict and effectively manage time. Key deliverables for this position include managing the Companies aggregate spend disclosure requirements, including the consolidation of information required by and the submission of the annual filings for the Physician Payment Sunshine Act; supporting the functions of the Company’s Healthcare Compliance Committee; managing the Company’s consulting agreements with healthcare professionals; and managing operational aspects of the Company’s Compliance Program. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to manage and meet expectations from the Chief Compliance Officer, the Company’s Healthcare Compliance Committee and management

Minimum Requirements: 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, English, Political Science or other comparable field of study required. Advanced degree (MBA or J.D.) preferred

Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in compliance/ethics preferred. Experience in the medical device industry is a required.

Independent, proactive judgment is employed in problem prevention/solving relating to conflict resolution with surgeon consultants and other internal/external stakeholders. Advanced discretion and judgment are exercised in decision making involving compliance policies and procedures

Highly confidential information regarding policies, procedures, consultants, investigations, customers, research, market development and product development.

External: Surgeons, Nurses, PA’s, Allied Health Professionals, Hospital/ASC Administors, Economic Buyers, Industry Society Officer/Staff. Interal: Sales Personnel, Marketing, Customer Service, Medical Education, Clinical Research, Finance, Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, Human Resources and Medacta International Personnel.

Occasional Duties: 

Industry Conferences, Domestic Company Meetings, participate in select product educational activities. Other duties maybe assigned at Medacta USA’s discretion.
