Position Summary: The Marketing Associate is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day marketing activities including preparing and routing communications, creating marketing content, social media management, and working with the product management team on various specific tasks. The successful candidate will collaborate with our dynamic team of U.S. and International teammates for all value-added services for external and internal marketing deliverables. Attention to detail is essential.

Knowledge:
Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree; with an emphasis on marketing or Health sciences; or 3-5 years equivalent work experience with High school diploma, or general education degree (GED)
Minimum Experience Requirements: Experience preferred but not required.
Minimum Skill Requirements: Must have strong organizational and Time management skills, as well as attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Quick to learn as Medacta utilizes various marketing platforms, channels, and Applications for social, digital, and email marketing. Must be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Equipment or Machines Used: PC/Microsoft Office software suite, Mac/iOS, general office equipment, and distribution equipment.
Reporting/Other: This position reports to the Director, Marketing/Communications. Travel could be upwards of 20% of the month and could include travel for industry conferences, training courses, and company meetings
Extent of Confidential Information: Highly confidential information regarding product development and marketing efforts.
Interpersonal Contacts:
External: Contracted sales agents
Internal: Direct sales personnel, Product Management, Product Development, Sales Administration, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Professional Education, Human Resources, and Medacta International Personnel.
Principal Duties:
Work closely with Product Management team to monitor and update social media platforms.
Route communications through all necessary channels including regulatory, compliance, and marketing Director
Assist and support department initiatives around the implementation and utilization of Medacta’s Patient Optimized Pathway (POP) Application & MyPractice Development activities and events.
Translate business needs into communications materials
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications
Assist in maintenance of content library, including toolkits, graphics, templates, and messaging
Maintain up-to-date mailing lists for customers and employees
Interface and collaborate routinely with Compliance, Logistics, and Customer Service personnel at Medacta USA.
Proactively work with Swiss counterparts with the flow of marketing & communications materials.
Work directly with senior management to rectify any identified issues and report as required.
