The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for supporting the contracting and pricing efforts of the Corporate Accounts team at Medacta USA, including financial analysis, bid responses, and pricing issues in support of the Medacta Spine product lines.

Knowledge:

Minimum Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business or accounting or related healthcare experience is required.

Minimum Experience Requirements

Minimum 3 years of financial analysis or related experience is required.

Minimum Skill Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Management, leadership, and organizational ability Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to maintain tact, poise, and discretion in handling confidential matters. Highly organized and detail oriented. B.       Principal Duties

 

·         Data cleansing of purchasing histories obtained through various resources.

·         Data analysis of customer purchasing histories.

·         Identifying and resolving data and pricing issues.

·         Preparation of Requests for Proposals and bid opportunities, financial impact of proposals, review of customer purchase history.

·         Create reports to analyze financial impact of pricing requests.

·         Understanding of methodologies for performing financial and opportunity analysis of proposals.

·         MS Excel proficiency, ability to create detailed reports, proficiency in pivot tables and other financial analytics.

·         Ability to work with sales management to complete proposals, resolve pricing issues, proactively create tools to effectively manage pricing, proposals and financial tools.

·         Develops and runs basic queries and other data collection spreadsheets to support assigned business areas and organizes them in a format for ease of review and use.

·         Monitors performance of month/quarter/year-end key performance indicators by gathering accurate data through a variety of data sources.

·         Assists department management by compiling and reviewing reports to present to senior management.

·         Maintains industry knowledge around payment reform models.

·         Excellent project management and prioritization skills. Must have the ability to multi-task on varying projects and challenging initiatives with an entrepreneurial spirit.

·         Must be able to work independently within stated goals and objectives and have the commitment to achieve those goals and objectives within the given time constraints.

·         Reasoning Ability:  Able to define problems, collect data, validate data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
