The Team Lead, Distribution is responsible for assisting in the daily management of distribution operations for Medacta USA. 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Assist in managing and prioritizing distribution employees to ensure the accurate receipt, storage and order fulfillment of customer requests. 

Reviews records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Proactively review business processes to identify gaps to prevent service disruptions to our customers

Work directly with senior management to rectify any identified issues and report as required

Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner

Ensure inventory accountability in the warehouse is maintained at all times through cycle count and process validation

Ensure all Medacta International policies are met at all times

Interface and collaborate routinely with Logistics and Customer Service personnel at Medacta International in Switzerland. 

Report statistical data as requested.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree; AA with one or two years related experience, or 3-5 years equivalent combination (required).  High School diploma, or general education degree (GED). 

Minimum skill requirements:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as Stock status, Shipping Rates, discounts Square Footage, interest, perorations, percentages, area, circumference and volume. 

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

Be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  

Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule exam. 

Equipment or Machines Used:

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint) and ERP systems

Supervisory Responsibilities: Assist in the supervision of distribution employees in accordance with the organizations polices and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include training employees: planning, assigning, directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  Frequently required to walk; use both hands; stand;sit; reach with hands and arms.  Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  Frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required include peripheral vision.
