POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting in the daily execution of distribution operations for Medacta.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

 

Experience Requirements: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in similar or related field. International shipping experience and inventory management, a plus.

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, and manuels.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret and follow a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
  • Valid Drivers License

 

Physical Requirements:

  • While carrying out the responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate (speak or listen). The employee often be required to walk, use their hands, stand, sit, and reach with their arms. Occasionally, the employee may stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The position also requires the employee to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include the ability to see peripherally.
  • Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions while performing the duties of the job.
  • The noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

  • Assist in executing accurate receipt, storage, and fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Assist in the instrument washing process and accurately re-assemble Loaner Instrument kits after washing is complete.
  • Accurately inventory, inspect, and replenish Loaner Instrument / Implant Kits. Ensure all missing or damaged instruments are recorded correctly.
  • Ensure that all Loaner Kits in the M-RESS location are replenished / refilled in a timely manner once inventory is available.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with the Expired Inventory Process within Loaner Implant Kits.
  • Conduct Daily Cycle Count activities as required to ensure inventory accuracy within the warehouse.
  • Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Work directly with management to rectify any identified issues and report as required.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner (5S).
  • Ensure inventory accountability in the warehouse is always maintained through cycle count and process validation.
  • Ensure all Medacta International policies are always met.
  • Interface and collaborate routinely with Logistics and Customer Service personnel.
  • Report statistical data as requested.
