MEDACTA INTRODUCTION

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the cleaning of reusable medical instrumentation at the Medacta USA Memphis warehouse. This includes handling various approved methods (equipment and manual) to ensure all instrumentation have been thoroughly disinfected and acceptable for reuse per Medacta USA Quality Systems and Operations requirements. Position located at the Medacta USA warehouse in Memphis, TN.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma (trade school and / or experience in the medical device quality profession is preferred).
Experience Requirements:
7 - 10 years’ experience in the medical device industry, utilizing ultrasonic wash and other cleaning methods
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience with a PC and general office equipment.
- Experience with mechanical testing equipment or a demonstrated mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FDA medical device quality system regulations is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of medical device function, loaner processing, equipment maintenance, and use.
- Physical Requirements:
- Standing and Walking: Extended periods at the workstation and throughout the warehouse.
- Sitting: Some sitting at a desk or workstation.
- Lifting and Carrying: Light to moderate lifting of office / warehouse materials.
Additional tasks may require reaching, manual dexterity, and visual acuity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Coordinates the movement of medical instrumentation returned from various hospital and healthcare facilities.
- Provides input to standard processes to ensure consistent and repeatable results.
- Ensures that any applicable quality system activities are completed in compliance with 21 CFR Part 820 regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
