Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma (trade school and / or experience in the medical device quality profession is preferred).

 

Experience Requirements:

7 - 10 years’ experience in the medical device industry, utilizing ultrasonic wash and other cleaning methods

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Ability to communicate effectively. 
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems. 
• Excellent time management skills. 
• Experience with a PC and general office equipment. 
• Experience with mechanical testing equipment or a demonstrated mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FDA medical device quality system regulations is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of medical device function, loaner processing, equipment maintenance, and use.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Standing and Walking: Extended periods at the workstation and throughout the warehouse.
  • Sitting: Some sitting at a desk or workstation.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Light to moderate lifting of office / warehouse materials.

Additional tasks may require reaching, manual dexterity, and visual acuity.

• Coordinates the movement of medical instrumentation returned from various hospital and healthcare facilities.
• Provides input to standard processes to ensure consistent and repeatable results.
• Ensures that any applicable quality system activities are completed in compliance with 21 CFR Part 820 regulations.            
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
