The Position:
As a Junior Media Buyer, you will work with the marketing team to plan, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns for our various brands. The role is focused 60% in media buying (TV and other channels) and 40% of the time driving other company initiatives as needed. Your self-initiative, creativity and drive will be the key to success in this role.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, media, or related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of media buying experience
- Strong understanding of KPI-driven decision making
- Experienced in effective presentation and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to easily adapt to change
Responsibilities
- Heavy focus on linear TV planning
- Ad hoc campaigns (digital, email, event marketing)
- Assist with media planning and scheduling
- Collect rate cards, media kits, RFPs from vendors
- Create calendar for tracking campaign schedules
- Assist with budget management – work with internal teams to track spending and reconcile media invoices
- Gather performance and sales data and create post-campaign reporting
- Analyze performance and make recommendations to optimize media to the MS (media sales ratio)
- Assist with development of creative script adaptations for US market and work with internal teams and legal counsel for approval
- Assist with creative production: sourcing assets, voice-overs, researching production agencies
- Ensure creative assets are to spec and delivered to vendors by deadlines
- Deliver orders, send cancelations, and send traffic instructions by deadline requirements
- Knowledge of media math (CPM, CPP, GRP, TRP, CPO)
- Handle ad hoc requests (customer service, research, ecommerce platforms, etc.)
