Title: Development Operations Coordinator

Type: Full Time Exempt Position

Report to: Development Director of 6 Stones Mission Network

Job Summary: Provides administrative support as a member of the Development and Communications team to execute elements of the annual development and communications plans.

Communications (35%)

  • Lead social media engagement across all 6 Stones social platforms.

  • Lead copy generation with accurate and compelling storytelling for all social media channels weekly and via email newsletter bi-weekly.

  • Maintain photo and other media files across 6 Stones.

  • Keep stock of communications pieces and letterhead current, print and order new pieces as necessary.

  • Assist with website updates as needed.

Donor Stewardship (35%)

  • Call donors regularly to build relationships and engage them in the work of 6 Stones.

  • Work with Development and Accounting teams to ensure excellence in donor stewardship with all types of donations and ensure accurate recording and acknowledgement of gifts within set timeline and standards.

  • Prepare and assist with donor recognition materials.

  • Assist with mailed appeal fundraising efforts and event sponsorship efforts.

  • Provides excellent customer service, anticipating and exceeding the needs of our donors.

Special Events & Community Engagement (15%)

  • Serve as point person for guest stewardship at all fundraising and cultivation events including RSVP, registration and general support.

  • Lead monthly tours and behind the scenes events.

  • Assist with annual fundraising events and annual volunteer appreciation event.

  • Attend Community Events as needed.

  • Share 6 Stones via public presentation as needed.

Database Management (15%)

  • Master the donor database management system (Bloomerang) and train others as needed to support a donor-centric culture.

  • Assist with reports, mailing lists, and query generation to support both mailed and email marketing pieces and projects.

  • Lead and influence the generation and sending of all relevant correspondence, thank you’s, etc.

Skills/Knowledge Needed: Must be able to manage multiple priorities and be attentive to details while providing support to multiple staff. Must be friendly, outgoing, team-oriented, flexible and work well with others. Must align with the vision, mission, and core values of 6 Stones.  Must have a thorough understanding of computer programs and be extremely proficient with tools such as gmail, google sheets, google docs, and PowerPoint. Candidates must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. A successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with the public, speaking on the phone, making cold calls, and working with vendors, donors, and community partners. 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 1-2 years related experience in administrative support. Experience with a database software such as Bloomerang, Donor Perfect, Raiser’s Edge, or other CRM software is preferred. Experience in the non-profit sector preferred. Must pass a criminal background check before hire. 

Hours/Work Setting: 40 hours per week. Office setting with periodic duties off-site. Some weekend and evening work required.

Wage/Benefits: $35,000-$40,000 DOE. Paid leave and holidays, medical and other insurance benefits, 401(k).
