Description:   6 Stones’ mission is to be a Catalyst of Hope; transforming lives, homes, and communities. The Momentum Generations Associate is a Christ-centered individual who will work directly with the Assistant Director of Momentum to take our Momentum Generations mentoring program into local high schools by facilitating 7-week cohorts using the 6 Stones Generations curriculum. The associate will exhibit confidentiality as well as 6 Stones’ Core Values. 


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate 1-hour Generations sessions at local high schools using the 6 Stones curriculum; each cohort runs for 7 weeks, with multiple cohorts running concurrently.

  • Maintain accurate attendance, outcomes, and other records for each cohort.

  • Recruit and train mentors, maintaining records of ISD and 6 Stones background checks, Ministry Safe training, etc.

  • Coordinate with school counselors regarding start dates, holidays, field trips, etc.

  • Coordinate and attend field trips to TCCD and other area schools.

  • Develop relationships with partnering organizations to assist students in a smooth transition from high school to college or trade school.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Generations summer program and the Generations Alumni program.

  • Assist in securing sponsorships/donations for the Generations program.

  • Coordinate, develop, and oversee any additional assigned projects.

Qualifications:

  • Oral and written communication

  • Google Workspace and Microsoft Office proficient

  • Be available up to 24 hours/week during regular work hours, including facilitating Generations classes at scheduled times on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

  • Experience working with high school students preferred
