The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to protect and care for southwest Florida ecosystems. The Grants and Financial Coordinator will assist the CFO & Director of Operations with accounts payable and receivable to ensure that financial operations among the foundation's different departments run efficiently. This person will also work closely with department directors to manage all aspects of grant reporting and compliance.
Duties and responsibilities
Grant Management:
• Work with department directors to maintain grant compliance and reporting
• Track expenses and produce financial reports for grants
• Record boat days/ mileage, receipts and timesheets for invoices
• Submit invoices and reports in accordance with grant requirements
• Provide grant reports for annual audit
• Track incoming funds and available balances
Financial and Administrative:
• Process and post accounts receivables/payable
• Create invoices
• Process staff reimbursements
• Generate general ledger reports
• Create purchase orders
• Track capital assets for audit and insurance purposes
Qualifications
• A college degree or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Suite
• Ability to multi-task, learn quickly and independently by webinars and online training
• Valid driver license
Working conditions
This position will require occasional evening and weekend work. This position is not eligible for remote work.
