Position Overview
Choice Digital is seeking a Global Compliance Analyst to support compliance functions across multiple verticals including regulatory, consumer protection, bank secrecy act and anti-money laundering, third party risk and enterprise risk, and information security. In this role, you will perform functions across the first, second, and third lines of defense, collaborating with Operations, Product, Sales, and Growth in multiple jurisdictions and geographies. This is an early to mid-career opportunity that will expose you to all aspects of compliance risk management in fintech and financial services.
Reporting to the VP Compliance and Risk, the successful candidate will bring an analytical mindset, collaborative approach, intuitive problem-solving skills, and a “can do” attitude that is ready to learn, adapt, and accomplish specified goals every day.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering
- Conduct “Know Your Business” (KYB) reviews, establish client risk profiles, and escalate red flags in support of timely client onboarding.
- Review and disposition alerts generated by proprietary and vendor-supplied fraud, anti-money laundering, and sanctions screening tools, escalating as appropriate.
- Review marketing collateral for network rules adherence, UDAAP risk, and contractual compliance.
- Review and manage oversight of the consumer complaint process and required reporting to partnered financial institutions.
Risk Management
- Make and monitor due diligence of third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure internal controls related to the third-party risk management program are operational and auditable.
- Assist in RFPs and other due diligence documentation provided to financial institution partners, technology providers, and network schemas.
- Monitor internal controls and key risk indicators to ensure compliance across the Company and alert leadership to gathering risks across the enterprise landscape.
- Contribute to compliance, IT, and enterprise risk management discussions and assessments.
Monitoring and Audit
- Working with various lines of business, assist in gathering, categorizing, and curating evidence for various monitoring and audit requirements such as BSA, SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and others, as required.
- Log, track, and coordinate the rectification of identified audit findings, including the development and implementation of corrective action plans.
- Execute monitoring activities to ensure compliance to first line of defense requirements, policies, and procedures.
Cross-Departmental Coordination and Miscellaneous
- Attend, participate, and report on various departmental standing, project, and ad hoc meetings to maintain readiness and optics on development/implementation activities.
- Work with staff from multiple departments to align the Compliance Department with wider aims, objectives, and strategic goals throughout the course of business.
- Participate, up to ownership, in one-off projects that develop new compliance products, remedy issues, or add/enhance business intelligence or risk management capacity, including project planning, management, responsibility allocations, and reporting.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area such as political science/law, business management, computer science, accounting, or similar.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in one or more compliance functions: regulatory/financial, bank secrecy act/anti money laundering, risk management, and/or information security.
- High degree of reading comprehension of complex regulations and requirements, clear writing and document production, attention to detail, and timely concise communication to leadership.
- Positive attitude, readiness and wiliness to learn and collaborate with peers and leaders across the organization, and high levels of problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Background and experience in fintech, payments, banking, or internal audit.
- Experience in work environments that include global or multi-jurisdictional operations.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, technology-based businesses in or adjacent to financial services.
- Demonstration of subject matter expertise through certifications such as CAMS, CFCS, CIPP, CRCM, or similar.
- Prior experience with data analytics tools, report and dashboard creation/maintenance, and report drafting and presentation.

In compliance with Colorado state law, pay for this position is anticipated to be between $70,000 to $90,000. Actual offers will be based on the applicant’s skills, experience, and education.
