Senior Sales Executive 

Datava, a leading player in the financial technology sector, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to join our rapidly growing startup. You are a seasoned sales professional and accomplished quota buster in the banking and credit union space! You show up with your polished demeanor, capable of opening doors at the executive level of each prospect but remain dedicated to your hunter roots - prospecting and managing your funnel.  You are self-motivated with a dedication to managing long, complex sales cycles and building longstanding relationships with your clients. Key Responsibilities

·       Sales Expertise: The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully selling to credit unions, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the credit union industry.

·       Quota Busting: We are in search of a results-oriented individual with a history of meeting or exceeding quota proven by a track record of staying at least 2-3 years in previous roles.

·       Strategic Vision: The successful candidate will be someone who aligns with our vision, contributing to the fast-paced growth of Datava and, in turn, achieving a potential annual income of $400k.

·       Sales Methodologies: Proficiency in modern sales methods, including the Challenger Sales method and the Jolt effect, is essential. The candidate should be adept at consultative selling and possess a deep understanding of positioning.

·       Self-Starter: We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, capable of working independently without constant management oversight, and who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

·       Marketing Collaboration: The candidate should be capable of constructing compelling presentation decks and contributing to the development of effective sales/marketing collateral.

·       Public Speaking: Adept at public speaking, the candidate should be able to articulate ideas clearly and engage audiences effectively.

·       Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is crucial, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the sales process.

·       Travel: Enthusiastic about traveling, the candidate should be prepared to engage in business development activities on a regional and national scale.

·       Aggressive Mindset: We value an aggressive, results-driven mindset in our team members. The candidate should be passionate about winning deals and achieving success.

 

Spend your days:

  • Driving revenue growth through prospecting and new customer acquisition 
  • Developing an understanding of our products and how each customer can ideally leverage our platform 
  • Working with referral partners and marketing to generate and cultivate leads 
  • Managing the full sales cycle - prospecting, qualifying, presentations, negotiating and closing  
  • Building strong senior level relationships with prospects to identify areas where our products can help them meet their business objectives 
  • Maintaining adequate CRM documentation for prospecting and pipeline management  
  • Helping us shore up our lead generation engine and sales methodology for future growth 

Show us your: 

  • Undergraduate degree in a business discipline or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience selling enterprise systems to mid-sized accounts in the banking and credit union space – quota busters wanted! 
  • Demonstrated success in a large complex selling environment working with senior executives 
  • Exceptional personal, written and presentation skills– honest, authentic, respectful 
  • Competency with CRM and Office Productivity tools 
  • Mind that naturally composes value propositions for every situation 
  • Strong work ethic, business acumen and excitement for working toward company goals and the discipline to work independently on your contribution to those goals 
  • Availability for domestic travel about 30% of the time
