Overview 

We are looking for a highly talented Full Stack Engineer to join our forward-thinking team, someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and can take concepts from idea to deployment. You will play a key role in advancing our CNTIENT platform automated scheduling and collection feasibility solution with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and models. Proficiency in Python, Django, JavaScript, and experience in building APIs is essential.

What you will be doing 

  • Create easy to use APIs and UIs centered around providing the best possible user experience.
  • Develop, test and deploy web-based solution leveraging Python, Django, and JavaScript to build intelligent space systems to modernize satellite operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize improvements that address key milestones and requirements. 
  • Explore, visualize, and process aerospace data.

What you will need 

  • US Citizenship, Permanent Resident (Green) Card.
  • Ability to gain or hold a security clearance (Secret or higher).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field: Computer Science, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience.
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s degree, or Ph.D. in a relevant field: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computational Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc. 
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in Python, Django and JavaScript (Vue.js or similar). 
  • 2+ years of professional experience building and shipping containerized applications using Docker.
  • Proficiency building APIs (GraphQL, REST) using best practices.
  • Proficiency in writing tests via Pytest and familiarity with Vitest.
  • Ability to work in a cross functional environment and work collaboratively on complex tasks.
  • Enjoys solving problems and possesses outstanding analytical skills.
  • Experience building web-based applications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Nice to have 

  • An understanding of geospatial data and information.
  • An understanding of satellite operations.
  • Experience with 3D mapping tools (Cesium, Mapbox, etc.).
  • Production experience operating Kubernetes clusters, including writing Helm charts and managing deployments, services, and ingress.

Salary 

$100,000 - $140,000
