About the Position: Soleil Labs is looking for a top-notch in vivo research associate to join our team. This energetic researcher will use their understanding of disease biology, and rigorous technical expertise in rodent pharmacology to help drive our target validation and drug discovery efforts. A successful candidate will be a hands-on researcher, capable of designing and executing in vivo studies in tight collaboration with our research team. As a key contributor in the team, this candidate would be expected to make important contributions in their role at the bench, advancing our ambitious and robust pipeline of drug programs.

 

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to in vivo efforts for drug discovery across a range of therapeutic areas including immunology and oncology
• Design and execute in vivo studies and ex-vivo analyses that will drive decision-making and prioritization
• Work with scientists and research associates in a fast-paced environment, actively prioritize efforts to align with organizational priorities and be flexible to the needs of the team
• Engage with scientific literature to understand our therapeutic hypothesis and collaboratively design drug discovery plans
• Contribute to execution of studies as a key member of the biology research team

 

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in biological sciences with 1-10 years of industry experience
• Hands-on scientific researcher who recognizes the importance of high quality studies and program prioritization
• Technical expertise in rodent model development and required in vivo pharmacology techniques
• Strong ability to interpret data in the context of the program
• Collaborative, communicative, and flexible; eager to do whatever is needed to help the team succeed
• Unwavering integrity, accountability, transparency and respect
• Deep passion for bringing novel therapeutics to patients as quickly as possible

Benefits and Compensation

The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role will be $56,000 – $156,250 annually (not including discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits). The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include but are not limited to relevant previous experience including duration and type of experience within the industry, education, and internal equity.
