About the Position: To support our ambitious goals, Soleil Labs is looking for a top-notch cellular immunologist to be a driving force in our target validation and in vitro pharmacology efforts. The successful candidate will utilize their technical expertise in in vitro immunology to execute target validation studies and develop functional assays for antibody screening across our drug discovery pipeline. We expect this candidate to be an eager learner, detail-oriented and meticulous in their work, highly collaborative, flexible, and driven by the excitement of discovering new drugs.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to assay development and data collection, primarily for (but not limited to) immunology-related programs
- Develop and execute high-fidelity functional assays in both cell lines and primary cell systems that can enable efficient target validation and drug discovery
- Work with the in vivo pharmacology team as needed to build and support ex vivo immunology workflows
- Carefully, clearly, and transparently analyze and present data to key internal stakeholders
- Collaborate intensely with other members of our lean research team as needed to reach our ambitious goals
Qualifications:
- BS in biological sciences
- 6 years of industry experience with in-depth vitro immunology experience
- Technical expertise in cellular immunology including the development and execution of both cell line and primary cell-based functional assays and FACS analysis
- Eager learner with a demonstrated understanding of cellular immunology and the ability to analyze and clearly present data
- Collaborative, communicative, and flexible; eager to do whatever is needed to help the team succeed
- Unwavering integrity, accountability, transparency and respect
- Deep passion for bringing novel therapeutics to patients as quickly as possible

The anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role will be $104,000 – $174,000 annually (not including discretionary bonus, equity, and benefits). The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include but are not limited to relevant previous experience including duration and type of experience within the industry, education, and internal equity.
