Community.co is seeking a full-time Groups and Events Promotions Coordinator to join our fast-paced team. This role presents a unique opportunity to help build a scalable events program by assisting the Director of Events in all aspects of project management, acting as support staff for virtual and in-person events as assigned as well as owning components throughout the planning process. Components may include creating email communications and event pages, tracking and coordinating event and/or speaker requests, ongoing involvement in the event editorial calendar (including collaborating with marketing on invitations and social media), and speaker prep before and during an event.

Who you are:
You’ll work across a variety of brands and industries such as cannabis, entertainment, crypto, technology, marketing, and human resources. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate meeting and event logistics including event setup details, audio-visual, activities, entertainment and supporting documentation.
Support our growing roster of Member Leaders with required events updates, speaker prep, post-event assets for personal branding and more.
Collaborate with Marketing and Member Communications to create event marketing materials (emails, web copy, landing pages) and visual assets to activate across different digital channels and amplify event presence for each brand.
Help build and maintain effective reports to determine performance and ROI of events over time.
Work to streamline the flow of events, with all details worked out prior and well-thought-out timelines and materials.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years’ experience independently managing events and/or community engagement opportunities that meet company or organizational brand goals.
Public speaking or event facilitation experience (virtual, IRL, or hybrid), especially for C-level audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be results-oriented, able to meet demanding deadlines and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with HubSpot, Zoom, Splash, Google calendar, and/or other tools that support registration, marketing, and execution of events.
Experience managing numerous competing priorities. The right person will be able to adapt quickly and with sound judgment to a variety of situations, and have a demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure.
Preferred qualifications:
Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, or similar software for task and process documentation
Experience with copywriting and email marketing
Impeccable attention to detail
Experience working across departments and in a client-facing role
Experience working in a remote environment
