Title: Program Coordinator, USRAP
Status: Full-time (temporary - 12 months)
Location: Virginia, or any IRUSA regional office
Division: Programs (Refugee Resettlement; USRAP)
Position Summary:
This Program Coordinator position sits within the headquarters resettlement team which oversees the implementation of Reception and Placement (R&P) Program post-arrival services for refugees. The Program Coordinator implements quality control measures to ensure that client-level reports submitted for the R&P Program are timely, accurate, and complete. The Program Coordinator develops tools and systems to track R&P training activities and ensure that R&P core service data is comprehensively reviewed, and programmatic information is shared with other members of the HQ Resettlement Team. The position provides administrative and logistical support to the HQ Resettlement Team and supports monitoring activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and submit to the donor R&P Period Reports, Minor Suitability studies, and follow-up minor evaluation reports for accuracy and quality; liaise with field staff to make corrections and updates as needed.
- Analyze trends associated with review of R&P Period and Minor Reports and review the program data in the aggregate, monthly, Resettlement Snapshot Report.
- Conduct quarterly audits of R&P Period Report results and housing compliance across IRUSA’s regional offices.
- Review client case files; act as a support and/or lead monitor and conduct M&E for IRUSA regional offices as stated in cooperative agreement.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date subject matter training and technical assistance materials
- Track R&P training activities and maintain/update associated protocols.
- Provide logistical support for trainings, meetings, travel and procurement requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum three years progressive non-profit experience, preferably with experiences in the Reception and Placement Program.
- Acumen for data collection and analysis, training and coaching
- Experience implementing the Reception and Placement Program at local or national level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as, an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; proven ability to prioritize and deliver on time.
- Strong analytic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic, cross-functional global team structure.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage others and work through change in a proactive and positive manner.
- Must be able to travel to IRUSA offices, as needed.
- Up to 30% of domestic travel is required.
- Flexibility in work schedule (i.e. evenings and weekends as necessary), willingness to travel.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
